VISUAL ARTS
Many artistic disciplines (performing arts, conceptual arts, textile arts) involve aspects of the visual arts as well as arts of other types.
PAINTING
Painting helps children use their senses, express emotion, explore process and outcomes, explore color, and create aesthetically pleasing works and experiences. The paintbrush becomes an instrument of inner peace allowing the creative process to allow both good and bad feelings from the artist. At Gateway in Visual arts we educate the children on various forms of painting like Coffee painting, glass painting. Printing styles like Banian printing, thumb printing, hand printing, Vegetable printing.
PERFORMING ART
Music always expresses new things which cannot be put into words and that which cannot remain silent. We have musical instrument training program like Keyboard, Guitar, Violin for our budding musicians.
Theatre art music and dance provide opportunity for the students in broadening their horizons and finding new comfort zones to distress themselves .
To be able to give life to a character on paper, through feelings and expressing different dance forms, enhancing sound has been a great experience for the students. Performing art has proven to be a platform to bring out the hidden talents of the students and boost them up using confidence to face the world.
DANCE& DRAMA
The importance of drama and performing arts in education is significant. Enacting in Drama and Performing Arts not only engages with the creative side of the brain, but also provides an ideal balance in students’ patterns of study. Drama and the performing arts allow an avenue to develop cognitive abilities that complement study in other disciplines. We at Gateway encourage all the children to participate in Dance and Drama. Dance, whether the classical or contemporary form, or Zumba, is an excellent form of exercise in addition to being an art form.Chances are given to all the children so that they get rid of stage fear and provide an all round education.
