It is with great delight and joy I welcome you all to another year of education with GIS IB. We are immensely proud of our school’s culture to not only thrive in academic excellence but also ensure that the student’s thirst for creativity, innovation and service is also met. This ensures that we maximize the potential of the child in terms of academic as well as personal growth. IB is all about Holistic development and we at Gateway IB go hand in hand with the mission and vision of IB education and stand with the students in their every step. The school is always striving to stay on the cutting edge of new and a versatile educational programme. We continue to offer a broader spectrum of innovative, challenging courses that broaden the horizons of our students.

The past two years had been the most challenging in providing a veritable education as the whole world was at a standstill. But it did provide us with the most exicting opportunity to try something new and excel at it.  GIS IB was one of the first to switch to online education the day lockdown was announced. The sheer amount of work, coordination and training to get everyone on board was spell bounding. To know that we spearheaded the virtual education platform with much ease shows how qualified and trained our staff are. And how technically our students savvy were to quickly adapt to the changing systems. This gave our team to fine tune this education programme to be adaptable and versatile for both in-person and virtual education system.

The past year we concentrated on training our faculties to be contemporary to the current education system. Also we did redefine many streams of our programme in lieu of our upcoming Evaluation Visit with IB. To ensure that the school life is not just a chronicle of just academics we pave way for our students to step in to many unchartered territories. We do focus on Art, life skills and Service in Action. Some of our students have taken this project to a whole new level of assisting their community in a life altering way. Not only in this, our final year DP student Niranjan Baskaran took part in ISEF, 2022 held at Atlanta, GA, USA and won the final award along with a cash prize of $1500. IT was a proud moment for Gateway IB. We had made our mark on an international forum. We do aim to provide more such opportunities for our students.

Our primary goal is to assist our students achieve their best and be successful in their perusal of their goals. We are committed to provide the best educational programme and also to forge positive relationships with both the stakeholders and the community. Thank you for your trust in us.
